Police Operation: Police wraps up search for criminals

Police officials capture 215 robbers during the operation in Katcha area.

RAJANPUR: Rajanpur Police completed an operation against proclaimed offenders in the Katcha area and set up check-posts after 16 years on Friday.

The operation led by District Police Officer (DPO) Sohail Zafar Chattha was completed in the River Indus area in 45 days and targeted court absconders, proclaimed offenders and kidnappers.

During the operation, police officials captured 215 robbers. New check-posts have been set up in Katcha Karachi, Katcha Umrani and Katcha Jamal in this regard.

DPO Chattha has said that several police officials were injured during the long operation but police had managed to flush out criminals from the Katcha area. “We have caught several people and done our jobs,” the DPO said.

None of thr hardcore criminal arrested or killed, poor farmers arrested to please the police touts for money. It is also confirmed that the police was involved in wheat theft amounting to million of ruppes in the area, deprieving the poor peasants of their crop and share. What a shame; the sp, dsp and his sho`s enjoing the looted wheat money of the poor farmers who were victims of the worst floods in history !! Govt resources were drained in this show off operation which failed drastically, 2000 police emn could not kill of arrest any of the wanted criminals . Instaed the criminals 300 in number manged to escape the cordoned off area ! What a shame for the police , but of no use as 7 million paid by these criminals helped them get a safe passage by polcie officers ! ... so many untold tragic stories and the police attrcocities against the local law abiding citizens !! SHAME ON YOU RAJANPUR POLICE !!!
