BBC World segment opening goes viral and you can't help but teehee

Video shows anchor trying to figure out which camera to pose for

A BBC video has taken the internet by storm... again. Last Friday, viewers witnessed BBC World reporter Tom Donkin jogging across the screen before the start of his segment on Hurricane Irma.

Donkin was seen contemplating which camera to pose for. First he walked out of the frame, before returning to stand in front of what he assumed was the right camera. Only to find out that his original position was right all along!



Considering the broadcast was at 2am UK time, Donkin could have managed to get away, unfortunately for him though, it was prime-time news in the United States. The awkward incident did not go unnoticed; it was in fact captured and shared by Twitter user, Andrew Roberts.

BTW, this was not the fault of @TomDonkinBBC, he was told to stand in the wrong position for the automated camera move and was told the

With over 10, 000 likes and more than 4,300 retweets, Roberts offered Donkin an apology for helping the incident go viral.
