IED blast: Five security personnel injured in Mohmand Agency

Device was planted on route to Koda Khel post near Pak-Afghan border

SHABQADAR: Five security officials were wounded in an IED blast on Monday near the border post at Baizai, Mohmand Agency.

Local administration in Ghallanai Mohmand agency confirmed the blast in Koda Khel Baizai subdivision.

The IED was planted on kacha track on the route to Koda Khel post near the Pak-Afghan border. It went off when it came in contact with a security force vehicle, which was carrying food.

Consequently, five security forces personnel got injured, who were shifted to a hospital in Peshawar.
