11 useful Netflix features you did not know about

We all know about Netflix and how it has conquered the world of smartphones, tablets, computers and television. All we want to do on the weekend is to sit back, relax and tune into Netflix.

However, there are certain hidden features that include the best Netflix tips and tricks.



1. Secret Codes

Netflix has hidden sub-genres which can be unlocked with special codes. The codes can be browsed at (http://ogres-crypt.com/public/NetFlix-Streaming-Genres2.html). After finding the one you want, it needs to be pasted at http://www.netflix.com/browse/genre/CODE (replacing “CODE” with the right combination of numbers).  However, this is only possible on the website.

2. New features

All you need to do to get early access to things you love is to select Test Participation on your account page.

3. History

This feature comes in handy if you don’t want others to view your guilty pleasures. History can be deleted by visiting Netflix’s Viewing Activity page in the account menu.

4. Rogue users

The See Recent Account Access option gives you information regarding when where and on which device your account was accessed. However any unknown user can be knocked off by selecting Sign Out of All devices.

5. Ratings

You can help Netflix by actually rating the things you watch. This extra effort will soon pay off.
