20 drug peddlers held, drugs seized

Police recovered hashish, liquor bottles, a pistol, three guns, two Kalashnikovs and bullets from their custody

SARGODHA: The police claimed to have arrested 20 drug peddlers and recovered narcotics from their possession on Wednesday.



Police teams of different police stations conducted raids and arrested 20 drug peddlers and recovered 8.29 kilogrammes of hashish, 4,674 liquor bottles, a pistol, three guns, two Kalashnikovs and bullets from their custody. The accused were identified as Muhammad Zaman, Muhammad Dilshad, Younas, Fahad Raza, Shafqat Khan, Javed Iqbal, Naveed Maseeh, Shoukat Hayat, Muhammad Khalid, Jahan Khan, Khurram Shahzad, Haji Ahmad, Abid Ali and others.

Cases have been registered against the accused.
