US-based Pie Five Pizza Co plans expansion into Pakistan

Will open its first international location in the country in 2018

DALLAS: Pie Five Pizza Co - a fast-casual restaurant known for pizzas - has announced its first international development agreement and it will open its first international location in Pakistan in 2018.

Over the next seven years, Pie Five will open up to 40 more locations in Pakistan, according to a statement issued by the company.

Pie Five has entered into master development partnership with Ali Shahid Butt and his partners at AR Pizza, LLC.

"Ali and his team have already built a very successful international and domestic restaurant organisation," said Scott Crane, CEO of Rave Restaurant Group Inc. "We look forward to partnering with them to bring dozens of Pie Five locations to Pakistan. We are also actively pursuing other international deals."



Dallas-based Pie Five Pizza Co is a subsidiary of Rave Restaurant Group Inc. Rave owns, franchises and supplies more than 300 Pie Five and Pizza Inn restaurants operating domestically and internationally.

Pie Five Pizza Co is a brand listed in the rapidly growing fast-casual pizza space, offering individual handcrafted pizzas made in less than five minutes.

In recent years, there has been an upsurge in the number of fast-food outlets in the country with the public shifting focus to online orders as well.
