RAWALPINDI:
Students associated with the Muslim Student Organisation (MSO) on Tuesday staged a protest outside Rawalpindi Press Club against the killing of Rohingya Muslims and urged the United Nations to intervene in stopping brutalities in Myanmar. Addressing the demonstrators, MSO Nazim Bilal Rabbani and others said innocent Muslims in Myanmar were being brutally killed. The Muslim children and women were being slaughtered like animals and thousands of women had become widows. The children and even old people were being burnt alive, they added. They criticised the silence of Muslims countries over the slaughter of Muslims in Myanmar.
