Ayaz Sadiq fined for speeding on motorway

Sadiq was travelling from Islamabad to Lahore on the second day of Eidul Azha when he was penalised

ISLAMABAD: National Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq was fined on Sunday by motorway police for speeding near Khanqah Dogran on M2 motorway.

Sadiq was travelling from Islamabad to Lahore on the second day of Eidul Azha when he was penalised. According to reports, the NA speaker's car was being driven at 150km/h in violation of the allowed speed limit of 120km/h. The NA speaker reportedly cooperated with the motorway police and praised them for vigilantly monitoring vehicles.

The M2 motorway, which is 375 km long, connects Lahore to Rawalpindi. It passes through Kala Shah Kaku, Sheikhupura, Khanqah Dogran, Kot Sarwar, Pindi Bhattian, Salem, Lilla, Kot Momin, Kallar Kahar, Balksar, Nila Dulha and Chakri.

Faizan | 7 years ago | Reply It should be treated as a normal case of violation of traffic rules. The lawmakers should abide by the laws as well their status doesn't mean they can get away with anything. People are praising the speaker for cooperation but i think he should be reprimanded for the violation if we praise the lawmakers for breaking the law and then say look he cooperated then it means they are above the law.
