12 Baloch insurgents surrender to security forces
Separately, IBOs were conducted in in Faisalabad, Lahore and Islamabad, says ISPR
As many as 12 militants from the Baloch Republican Party (BRA) surrendered themselves to security forces in Noshki area of the province on Wednesday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the militants included two mid-tier terrorists, i.e. Wali Khan from district Kohlu and Karghani from Sui.
A huge cache of arms and ammunition were also recovered from their possession following an intelligence-based operation, it added.
Separately, the Pakistan Rangers, Punjab Police and intelligence agencies carried out IBOs in Faisalabad, Lahore and Islamabad.
In the last two days, 39 suspects including eight illegal Afghan immigrants have been taken into custody, the military's media wing said.
Illegal weapons and a large cache of ammunition was recovered from various areas in Faisalabad, the communique added.
