Ali Sethi found himself a fan in Honey Singh
And it's all courtesy of Coke Studio episode 2
Coke Studio is a trusted music label, not just in Pakistan but across the border too. The creations of each season are eagerly anticipated by fans and followers around the globe who laud the original compositions as much as they appreciate renditions of old classics.
This 9-year-old's rendition of the National Anthem put Coke Studio's version to shame
Garnering a fandom across the border is one thing but receiving a shout out from an A-list musician is really hitting the jackpot, which Ali Sethi has successfully managed to accomplish in the second episode of Coke Studio Season 10.
The Lungi Dance vocalist Honey Singh recently took to twitter to praise the Tinak Dhin - an upbeat composition that featured in the second episode of Coke Studio.
The single is sung by the talented Ali Hamza, Sethi and Waqar Ehsin. However, Sethi received a special mention from Singh. "What a fun song. All three of the vocalists are good but Ali Sethi is the best at 3:08 -3:16," reads the pop-star's recent tweet.
Sethi has previously lent his vocals to The Reluctant Fundamentalist and released his own singles too. He has also starred in Coke Studio Season 9 alongside the legendary Abida Parveen and performed a rendition to the ghazal Ranjish Hi Sahi in the first episode of the season. With both of his works garnering massive fandom, the artists' music career seems to be flourishing by the day.
