The Azad Jammu and Kashmir assembly, on Monday, adopted a unanimous resolution condemning the US decision of blacklisting Hizbul Mujahideen in its session in Muzaffarabad, reported Radio Pakistan.
The resolution stated that Hizbul Mujahideen is an indigenous organisation representing sentiments and aspirations of Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination. The resolution was tabled by Member of Legislative Assembly Abdul Rasheed Turabi.

The UN charter has mandated Kashmiri people to struggle for their independence movement through political diplomatic fronts.
The resolution also condemned the US decision terming Syed Sallahudin a terrorist. It also opposed state terrorism by Indian forces in the Occupied Valley, and said that the US State Department has adopted a dual policy regarding terrorism.
The resolution also demands the UN and other international human rights organisations to speak out and play their role in stopping the gross human rights violations and mass genocide of Kashmiris at the hands of the Indian troops. It further stated that the UN must take notice of the Indian government and their desire to repeal article 35-A of its constitution to change the demography of Kashmir.

The House reiterated an extension of their political, moral and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris and their right of self-determination. The House will now meet tomorrow morning.
