PESHAWAR:
The Awami National Party (ANP) Germany chapter will hold a grand gathering of Pakhtuns to celebrate the renaming of the province of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) in a befitting manner. This was stated by Hidayatullah Khan Bangash, who is president for the ANP, Germany chapter. He was speaking at the Guest Hour Programme held at the Peshawar Press Club (PPC) on Wednesday. He said ANP’s central president Asfandyar Wali Khan will be invited to attend the function as the chief guest. “The renaming of the province to grant identity to Pakhtuns was a dream that had come true in the wake of the passage of the 18th Constitutional Amendment Bill. It will be fully celebrated”, said Bangash a former student activist of ANP. He said the celebrations will be held in July and will be made a regular feature of ANP Germany’s activities.
