Newly appointed: Joint secretary takes charge

ISLAMABAD: Ghulam Murtaza on Wednesday assumed the charge of the joint secretary senate (BS-20). Earlier the senate chairman had promoted Murtaza, who was a deputy secretary previously, to the post of joint secretary at the Senate Secretariat with effect from April 11. He will be on probation for a period of two years in terms of Rule 11(5) of the Senate Secretariat (Recruitment) Rules, 1973.
