2 gang members killed

GUJRANWALA: A proclaimed offender and his accomplice were killed during a shoot-out with local police on Wednesday afternoon.

According to police officials, the outlaws were pressurising complainant Dr Ashraf and were extorting money from him.

On a tip-off, a police team from Ghakhar Police station reached the men’s hideout and opened fire.

In the ensuing shoot-out, two accused, Zubair Nutt and Riaz, were killed on the spot while two others fled.
