Almost year after the 2016 US presidential election, Hillary Clinton has revealed that the presidential debates with Donald Trump "made her skin crawl".

"'This is not okay,' I thought," Clinton said, describing Trump looming behind her," according to extracts from Clinton's upcoming book, What Happened, reports RT.

"Two days before the world heard about him grabbing women, now we were on a small stage, and no matter where I walked, he followed me closely, staring at me, making faces."

"He was literally breathing down my neck,” Clinton further said of the debate. "My skin crawled."

The Democratic former secretary of state won the popular vote by more than 2.7 million ballots but lost the crucial Electoral College by 232 to 306.

"It was one of those moments where you wish you could hit pause and ask everyone watching, well, what would you do?" she wrote. “Do you stay calm, keep smiling and carry on as if he weren't repeatedly invading your space? Or do you turn, look him in the eye and say loudly and clearly, 'Back up you creep, get away from me’? I know you love to intimidate women but you can’t intimidate me, so back up," Clinton expressed her cringe.

The Democrat said she chose to keep her cool since she has been dealing with men trying to "throw he off" all her life.

Faisal | 6 years ago | Reply these are all politicians and ex-politicians who are interested in making money - this is the perfect promotional ad for her upcoming new book. She is only interested in the millions she will make with the sale of her books.
cautious | 6 years ago | Reply I wonder why her skin didn't crawl when her husband was impeached for lying about molesting women? Trump may have his issues but Hillary is arguably just as bad and maybe worse.
