Skills for Youth Project’ is a pilot programme supported by USAID

PESHAWAR: The USAID on Wednesday handed over information technology equipment, including lab tools and other supporting material, to the Shaheed Benazir Women University (SBBWU) Peshawar.

Speaking on the occasion, USAID Skill for Youth Project Chief Ijlal Hussain said that ‘USAID Skills for Youth Project’ is a pilot programme supported by USAID with equal resource contributions through Cisco Systems.

He said that the programme is designed to equip youth belonging to marginalised areas of the K-P and Fata with IT skills and link them to better job opportunities.
