Terrorists arrested in Mardan

Security forces arrest important terrorist Wajid along with four accomplices in Mardan.

Security forces on Wednesday arrested an alleged terrorist named Wajid, who is said to belong to the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Swat Chapter, along with four accomplices from the Pista Khara area Mardan.

Wajid is said to hail from the Takht Bhai area of district Mardan.

According to sources, Wajid was assigned special duties and was also responsible for arranging high-level meetings of the Mohmand, Bajaur and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) members of the TTP.

Around 200 mobile phones and 250 mobile sims were seized from his possession which he used for communicating with the Taliban.
