Trailer of Varun Dhawan's 'Judwaa 2' will take you on a fun-filled ride

Actor does not want to be compared to the film's original hero Salman Khan though

Judwaa 2 - a modern twist on the original 1997 blockbuster Judwaa - seems like it will have you laughing yourself sick.

The much-awaited trailer has finally been released and it looks hilarious. The ever-amusing Varun Dhawan can be seen acing his on-screen characters Raja and Prem alongside Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu.

Just a day after the trailer of his film Badrinath Ki Dulhania came out, Dhawan returned to the sets for his second project this year — Judwaa 2 — and kicked off the film’s shooting with great enthusiasm. He is definitely on a roll!



The Student of the Year star has stepped into Salman Khan’s shoes for the sequel but he doesn't want to be compared to the superstar. “I am not even thinking about it, it’s you guys who keep reminding me about it. As an actor, I do films to entertain the audience. I never think about what I will gain from its success ... if it will raise my status as an actor in the number game, or if my price will increase or if I will bag an advertising campaign.," said Varun. "Eventually, I want people to enter theatres and enjoy watching both the characters, Raja and Prem,” he expressed.

Varun, along with the film’s producer, Sajid Nadiadwala and his director-father David Dhawan, was celebrating 20 years of the original film which starred Karisma Kapoor and Rambha. Watch the trailer here:
