Turkish Ambassador called on PM with letter of felicitation from Turkish President

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, on Monday, expressed satisfaction on the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Turkey, adding that the country is keen on further strengthening ties, particularly in economic cooperation.

The comments were made at a meeting with the Turkish Ambassador S Babur Girgin, who had called on the premiere at the PM house in Islamabad. He said the relations were "based on shared history, common values and mutual interests."

The Turkish Ambassador felicitated PM Abbasi on assuming the office with a letter of felicitation from the Turkish President to the prime minister. He also expressed hopes that the ties between the two countries would "continue its pace" and result in "greater cooperation and collaboration between the two countries."
