The acting ambassador of China to Pakistan Huan Xilian on Tuesday said that the exemplary relationship between Pakistan and China has to be reshaped and strengthened in the wake of the recent complex changes across the world.
Addressing the participants of a conference on Pak-China Relations, he said China has invested more than $1 billion and contracted more than 120 projects in Pakistan and that recently 20 commercial contracts, valued at more than $10 billion, have been signed.
Chairman Senate Farooq H Naek said, “Pakistan and China have signed a number of MoUs and they need to be put into operation without further delay.”
The conference was organised by the Institute of Policy Studies in cooperation with the Institutes of South Asian Studies to mark the 60th anniversary of Pakistan-China diplomatic relations.
