ISLAMABAD: The upcoming International Calligraphy Exhibition, Seminar and Art Workshop in connection with Independence Day celebrations will play an instrumental role towards promotion of great Islamic art of Calligraphy.

Advisor to PM on National History and Literary Heritage (NH&LH) Irfan Siddiqui said this while chairing a meeting to finalise the arrangements for the event.

Prominent calligraphers from 10 different Islamic countries will participate in this exhibition titled Alqalam, while the art pieces of the calligraphers from 40 countries will be displayed in the exhibition.

The exhibition is being arranged by NH&LH in collaboration with Research Centre for Islamic History, Arts and Culture (IRCICA), Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
