HYDERABAD: University of Medical and Health Sciences is organising a two-day symposium on ‘Evidence-based dentistry’ on April 16 and Governor Ishratul Ebad will inaugurate and chair the event.

“The event’s objective is to inspire academic activity, research and professional expertise in dentistry,” the secretary for the symposium, Dr Feroze Ali Kalhora, said on Monday. Evidence-based dentistry or medicine discourages traditional practices and encourages clinical decisions based on the best available evidence.

The symposium will feature workshops, papers and table clinic competitions for students.
