Two drown in Malkhanwala Canal

Family was riding a motorcylce when it fell into the canal

SIALKOT: A woman and her son drowned when their motorcycle fell into Malkhanwala Canal in the jurisdiction of Sambrial police station on Monday.



Police said Abbas Ali, his 32-year-old wife Shakeela and sons Ehtisham, 8, and Asad, 3, were riding a motorcylce when it fell into the canal. As a result, Shakeela and Ehtisham drowned while Abbas and Asad were rescued from the canal. Rescue 1122 officials shifted the bodies to nearby hospital for legal formalities.
