KARACHI: I wish our TV channels can devote a segment or two guiding people about placing and handling the Pakistani flag. Because as soon as the Independence Day is over these flags are trashed or thrown away, which is extremely disrespectful.
Every year the flags are purchased in a record quantity. But why do most of the people need to purchase a flag every year? Are these flags not kept properly for future use? Are they discarded? There is a need to create awareness among the people of Pakistan regarding the honour, respect and importance of our national flag.
