KARACHI: A business delegation of Turkey will visit Pakistan in the near future as the two sides have a highly valued and close relationship.

The announcement was made by Turkish Economic Affairs Minister Fatih Metin while speaking at the Business Opportunity Conference held on the sidelines of the 30th International Achievement Awards organised by the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) in Istanbul.

He told the audience that participation of companies like Tumsaid, Mosaid, Askon and DEIK reflected the seriousness of Turkish business community in stepping up trade ties with Pakistani counterparts.

RCCI President Raja Amer Iqbal, in his speech, said the Rawalpindi Chamber was the first to arrange such an awards ceremony in Pakistan’s history. “The basic purpose behind the event is to improve bilateral trade and promote Pakistan’s soft image,” he added.
