Going digital: VU launches smartphone app for students
The application was designed in-house by the IT department of the university

A smartphone application has been developed by the Virtual University (VU) of Pakistan to help students get information about their degree programmes and stay informed about the developments at the varsity.
The VU announced the launch of VULMS app, a mobile application that will be available and fully functional from fall 2017 session on Saturday. The application was designed in-house by the IT department of the university and will be available on Google Play Store from the start of the new semester.
According to VU spokesperson, by downloading VULMS app students would be replicating the experience currently available on desktops directly to their mobile phones.
