ISLAMABAD: Police and Rangers conducted a search operation in villages located in the Margalla Hills on Friday. A police spokesperson said the search operation was conducted in Talhar, Gokina and other villages at the outer limits of the federal capital in the Margalla Hills. Police said a total of 100 houses and 200 individuals were checked and screened during the search operation in the jurisdiction of Kohsar police. Officials said the search operation was part of the overall efforts for foolproof security in the capital. Separately, a search operation was also conducted by police and Rangers in Peshawar Mor, Musharraf Colony, Maskeen Colony, G-9 Markaz and other areas of Karachi Company police jurisdiction. Police said 170 houses and 250 individuals were screened during the search operation, while several guest houses in G-9 Markaz were also inspected.
