Kharif crops: Season targets to be set on April 18

ISLAMABAD:
The Federal Committee on Agriculture (FCA) will meet on April 18 to review the production of Rabi crops, and set targets for Kharif crops.
FCA will review crops such as wheat, and set cultivation targets for major Kharif crops, such as cotton, maize, sugarcane, and pulses for fiscal 2011-12.
Federal Minister for Food and Agriculture Mir Israr Ullah Zehri will chair the meeting.
