PESHAWAR: Disaster management authorities in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa continued their drive to sensitise people about precautions they need to take in case of natural disasters.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) campaign to raise awareness about precautionary measures during disasters has entered in its third phase in 10 sensitive districts of the province.

The drive has been started to raise awareness among residents about the importance of taking precautionary measures during monsoon season. Director Human Resources Kabir Afridi and other high ranking officials of PDMA distributed pamphlets among the masses on the roads of Peshawar.

"The natural disasters cannot be stopped, but better planning and strategy can help reduce the damages caused by the calamities.
