Strict action should be taken against those who are using state resources for Nawaz’s rally, says opposition leader

The opposition benches sought a debate over state resources being used for former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s rally.
Opposition leader Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed submitted an adjournment motion and said all resources were being used to make Nawaz’s rally a success. He submitted that all ministers were absent from their offices. He contended that those who were not joining the rally were being threatened of dire consequences.

“Strict action should be taken against those who are using state resources for Nawaz’s rally,” he said.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Mailk Taimoor Masood, while submitting a resolution, demanded of the house that a former cricketer should be elected as chairman PCB.

“There were several precedents in which Najam Sethi’s role as PCB chairman had been doubted,” he said. “A match fixing scandal in the recent Pakistan Super League is an example,” he added. It was demanded in the resolution that Imran Khan be elected as PCB chairman for the progress and development of cricket.
