ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Agriculture Research Council (Parc) has developed first draft of the food security policy in consultation with provincial partners and is ready to place it before the cabinet for deliberation, said Parc Chairman Dr Yusuf Zafar.

In the eighth meeting of the Inter-Provincial Research Coordination Committee on Tuesday, Zafar apprised members of main objectives of the committee, which included greater research coordination among the federal and provincial research partners.
PARC approves 12 research projects
He expressed the hope that such events would be helpful in sharing knowledge, ongoing research activities and enhancing the opportunities of collaboration.
