AJK prepares to mark Pakistan’s independence

MIRPUR: Brisk preparations are afoot to celebrate the 70th Independence Day of Pakistan in the liberated territory of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).

Elaborated programmes have been chalked out to celebrate the day under the auspices of various social, political and public representative organisations including the members of Pakistan and Kashmir freedom movements in different parts of the district.

Speakers in the ceremonies will highlight the importance of the day coupled with reiteration of the Kashmiris resolve to continue the freedom struggle till the liberation of occupied Jammu and Kashmir from the Indian yoke and translate the idea of accession of entire Jammu Kashmir state to Pakistan.
