Over the past decade, Pakistan has seen an amazing degree of freedom in press and other media. Newspapers are now autonomous in the true sense of the word and are the source of truth for their readers. We trust the newspapers to bring the real story behind every rumor, gossip, event and news. Due to this bond of trust, every newspaper has a moral and social responsibility to use this power of freedom for nothing but the benefit of our society.

The Express Tribune in this regard has shown exemplary respect for the faith that its readers have in the newspaper. Since its inception, The Express Tribune has been working with one simple and clear philosophy – the philosophy of “nothing but the truth” and as a result it has become one of the leading patrons of truth in the country.

The Express Tribune’s team of reporters and journalists deserves recognition for its efforts in covering story after story and unveiling the reality by using the power of words. The unit’s biggest asset is its ethical code of conduct which makes it one of the most credible teams in the country.

Today the Newspaper celebrates its first anniversary, and team Channel 7 Communications takes this opportunity to congratulate The Express Tribune on their remarkable efforts in the field and applauds the team’s passion for truth. Me and my team wish the entire unit an even more successful future and commend them on being the symbol of truth.
