Islamabad Mayor and CDA Chairman Anser Aziz said this while chairing a meeting held at CDA headquarters. Mayor Aziz was apprised that the directorate registered 2,724 births and deaths during May, June and July and collected revenue amounting to Rs676,250.
During the said period, 263 cases regarding modifications in birth registration certificates, 48 cases regarding modification in death certificates, 2,062 new birth registration certificate and 351 death certificates were issued. Previously death and birth certificate registration section was located in Emergency and Disaster Management Directorate, but due to less space citizens’ were facing difficulties.
