Sara, daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, told by mum to stay away from boys

Amrita doesn't want her daughter to get caught in a controversy before her Bollywood debut

As soon as reports started doing the rounds that Sara Ali Khan, daughter of Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan and his ex-wife Amrita Singh, will debut in Bollywood, her mother has been cautious and told her daughter to stay away from her male friends for now.

Sara made headlines for her alleged relationship with Harshvardhan Kapoor after they were spotted together and this upset Amrita.

Deccan Chronicle reported that Amrita told Sara to stay away from her male friends and not to hang out with her male co-stars as she did not want her to get caught in a controversy.

Sara will make her Bollywood debut opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in Kedarnath.



Amrita also had a meeting and dinner with Kedarnath director Abhishek Kapoor, to ensure that her daughter was projected properly in the film. She even told him that she wants Sara to be presented in the right manner.

With mom Amrita at the helm of her career graph now, Sara seems sure to be going right, unlike when we heard multiple stories about her when she was about to be cast in a Karan Johar film.

Earlier, Saif Ali Khan had said he was not too happy about his daughter's enrty in Bollywood. The 46-year-old said the profession was too risky and did not want her to enter an unstable profession.

”Why would she want that for herself? Look at where she studied. After having done that, why wouldn’t she want to live and work in New York, rather than do this?” Saif said in an interview with DNA.
