PML-N wants Imran disqualified

LAHORE:
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Wednesday demanded the disqualification of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan after MNA Ayesha Gulalai accused him of indecent advances.
Disqualification reference filed against Imran over Gulalai allegations
The party asked that articles 62 and 63 of the constitution of Pakistan be applied to Imran. PML-N legislator Hina Pervez Butt submitted her resolution in the Punjab Assembly and urged the Supreme Court of Pakistan to order an investigation over the allegations leveled by Gulalai against Imran.
She also condemned the alleged conduct of Imran Khan with political workers of the women’s wing, adding such activities do not suit to a party leader. She requested the Supreme Court to disqualify the PTI chief under the aforesaid articles.

JI wants CM’s resignation
Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has demanded the resignation of Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif before he launches his election campaign for by-polls in NA-120. Dr Waseem Akhtar of JI submitted a resolution in the Punjab Assembly, asking that MPA Shoaib Awais be nominated as interim chief minister of Punjab.
