PSG close in on world-record Neymar capture

Sources confirms AFP that 25-year-old has informed his club mates that he is joining Ligue 1 giants

BARCELONA: Brazil striker Neymar is apparently moved a step closer to his potential world-record move to French giants Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

Sources confirmed AFP that star striker has informed his Barcelona teammates on Wednesday that he is leaving the club.

Pique suggests Neymar going nowhere


"The player came to train as scheduled and announced to his teammates that he is leaving. The coach has given him permission to not train and to manage resolving his future.”

Sky Sports also confirmed the news that the 25-year-old is given permission by the club to not train with the squad.

Neymar’s proposed move to PSG worth of €222 million will see him become the most expensive player in the history of the game.

Neymar joined Barcelona from Santos in 2013, and has so far scored 68 league goals while playing for the Catalan giants.
