
“We must leap forward if we want to survive in a competitive world and move ahead in social and natural sciences, or we will be thrown in the dustbin of history,” Mirza said.
He added that change could only be brought about by the middle class.
PU Vice Chancellor Mujahid Kamran noted that Pakistan spent less than two per cent of GDP on education, whereas developed countries spent over five per cent of their GDP on education.
