Most of the smartphone launches now a days don’t come as a major surprise with most of the details of a phone being leaked before. We saw this with the iPhone 7 and Samsung Galaxy S8 launch. The iPhone 8 has had its fair share of leaks and rumours for almost a year and in line with this trend, the latest casualty is the Samsung’s upcoming phablet Note 8.

Just weeks away from its launch, the new image was leaked by Venture Beat's Evan Blass, who is also responsible for bringing us other leaks concerning the iPhone and Samsung’s previous flagship devices.

Samsung teases Galaxy Note 8 ahead of August 23 launch

The image shows the Note 8 in 'Midnight Black' which follows suit with the S8’s edge to edge bezel less display.

Of course, the Note 8 display is set to be larger than the S8 display further complementing Samsung’s infinity display.

The phone is slated to be launched at Galaxy note event on August 23, and if the leak is any indication of what to expect, we are in to witness the launch of a monstrous smartphone.

Samsung may have accidentally revealed upcoming Galaxy Note 8

In terms of what the phone boasts, we still don’t know much other than that it will come with a dual-camera system and hopefully a non-exploding battery. Given last year’s horrendous Note 7 recall and the damage it did to the Note brand, Samsung has no choice but to deliver a flawless Note device.
