Police is for protection of people but when its own employee is not protected, then how will the masses be protected
QAMBAR-SHAHDAD KOT: My father is a police constable (PC-230). He lives in village Dittal Abro. He has been performing his duty honestly since August 20, 1988. He faced murder attempts in 1998 and was terribly injured in a terrorist ambush (copy of the evidence / Daily Kawish newspaper attached), while returning from Wagon police station to Qamber. He has served the police department honestly and has never made any single penny by unlawful means. He has been living in a dilapidated home. He dislikes corruption.
Due to his honest, patriotic, loyal, devoted and selfless service in the police department some evil-minded people are trying to murder him. The circumstances of my family is very pathetic. The police department is for protection of people but when its own employee is not protected, then how will the masses be protected?
I request the authorities to protect my father from anti-social elements. My father has served in the police department for 29 years and this needs to be appreciated.
