Week-On-Week: SPI falls 0.13%

ISLAMABAD: The Sensitive Price Indicator (SPI) for the week ended July 27, 2017 registered a decrease of 0.13% for the combined income group, going down from 219.03 points in the previous week to 218.75 in the week under review.

Compared to the corresponding week of previous year, the SPI for the combined income group fell 0.46%. The SPI for the lowest income group decreased 0.13% compared to the previous week.

Week-On-Week: SPI falls 0.20%

The index for the group stood at 208.29 points against 208.57 in the previous week, according to provisional figures released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.

During the week, average prices of 11 items rose in a selected basket of goods, prices of 13 items fell and rates of remaining 29 goods recorded no change.
