One Piece, Three Ways: Ayesha Farook Hashwani

This super chic Ayesha Farook Hashwani jacket is an ode to the tropics

November 15, 2017

While trends fade, style remains eternal and one piece can be put together in many different ways. In this feature we have three fashionistas showing us how to put together an item from a designer’s collection, according to their own individual style and taste!

This super chic Ayesha Farook Hashwani jacket is an ode to the tropics. Embellished with sequined bugs and tropical leaves and adorned with detailed thread work, the jacket makes for a statement piece which adds that glam factor to your wardrobe. Dress it up with formal pants or team it with a pair of ripped jeans for a more understated, casual look.

This Ayesha Hashwani jacket is a versatile piece that can be worn with  mnanything, in Pakistan or abroad. My look is almost always very casual so I teamed the jacket with a vest top and sweat pants from Topshop and my Giuseppe Zanotti flats to give it some edge. I wore a pair of statement earrings and bracelets from my collection to enhance my look, while keeping my hair and make-up minimal.

This AFH statement jacket speaks for itself; hence I didn’t feel the need to add much to my outfit. I used the colour scheme from the jacket and matched it to some of my classic pieces, like my green python Lady Dior bag and black Louboutin Bianca heels. I styled my look with a pair of faded, distressed boyfriend jeans. I kept my accessories minimal and my hair straight and effortless, while adding a bold lip. I topped off my look with oversized sunnies for an easy-going, semi-formal vibe.

This Ayesha Hashwani jacket is the perfect statement-making piece. With its sequined detailing and embroidered work, the jacket is versatile enough to be worn in different ways. Since I love playing with colour, I paired the jacket with my fuchsia pink Manolos. I wore a plain black tank and pants and the detailing on my pants complemented the sequined detailing in the jacket. I kept my make-up minimal with a nude lip and my hair in loose curls. I completed my look with an Alexander McQueen clutch, and I’m ready for a night out!
