The police presented Muhammad Danish and Muhammad Raheem, both said to be activists of Muttahida Qaumi Movement - London (MQM), before the administrative judge and sought their custody for interrogation.
They, along with three absconding suspects, Bilal, Muhammad Rizwan and Muhammad Owais, have been accused of killing PSP workers Rashid Khan alias Laal and Abdul Majeed alias Nadeem Molana in a firing incident on July 17 in Orangi Town.

On Wednesday, the Rangers held a press conference in which they claimed to have arrested the suspects following leads obtained during investigations in the killings of the PSP workers. According to the paramilitary force, the suspects were tasked with the killings by MQM founder Altaf Hussain and were subsequently rewarded.
The administrative judge sent the suspects in police custody for four days on physical remand and sought a progress report from the investigation officer, Inspector Jameel Ahmed Awan, on next the hearing.
The main case, 167/2017, against the suspects is registered under sections 302 (premeditated murder) and 34 (common intention) of the Pakistan Penal Code read with Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act while two cases, 175/2017 and 176/2017, under Section 23(1)a of the Sindh Arms Act are registered at Orangi Town police station.
