Mustafa Kamal wants action against Altaf
MQM-London accused of using websites, social media to instigate terrorism
KARACHI:
Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chairperson Mustafa Kamal has demanded the federal government and interior minister take down the website and social media accounts of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement - London (MQM) as, according to him, it was a matter of the country’s sovereignty and honour.
Addressing a press conference on Thursday at PSP headquarters Pakistan House, Kamal asked the Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz-led federal government and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan to take action against MQM founder Altaf Hussain for his alleged involvement in terrorist activities in Pakistan.

He urged the authorities to make use of diplomatic channels with countries like the United Kingdom, South Africa and India in a bid to tackle the operations of the MQM-London and share with the said countries dossiers about the group’s alleged role in terrorist activities.
“The Rangers have made it clear, during their [Wednesday’s] press conference, how Altaf ordered the killing of [two] PSP workers and then appreciated the killers,” Kamal said. “[Altaf] has been continuously telling his party workers how to carry out terrorist activities during his speeches for the past month.”

Kamal said MQM-London was using its website and social media accounts to instigate terrorism and this should be tacked immediately. “On social media, profanities are being hurled at the country and directives have been given to kill innocent people,” Kamal said.
