SED finalises 14th August celebrations 

On August 14, special prayers will be offered for the prosperity and wellbeing of the country after Fajr prayer

LAHORE: Provincial Schools Education Department (SED) has finalized the arrangements to celebrate the 70th Independence Day in a befitting manner across the province.

In this regard, a committee has been constituted by the Punjab government which will be chaired by Provincial Schools Education Minister Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan while Schools Secretary Dr Allah Bakhsh Malik has been entrusted to act as Secretary of the Committee. According to the spokesman, the Independence Day celebrations will be held throughout the province from August 1-14 under the aegis of SED.

On August 14, special prayers will be offered for the prosperity and wellbeing of the country after Fajr prayer and national flags would be hoisted on school buildings.
