1) Hadiqa Kiani
Our very own pop-star Hadiqa Kiani made headlines with her decision to adopt a child and named him Naad-e-Ali. The baby was orphaned by the Earthquake that hit the north of Pakistan in 2005 and Kiani was lauded for this unconventional life decision.
2) Sushmita Sen
The former Miss World has not only broken stereotypes surrounding adoption but also changes the outlook revolving around what is expected out of women in society. She chose to adopt two girls instead of opting for marriage and settling the cookie-cutter way.
3) Raveena Tandon
Raveena Tandon adopted two girls, Pooja and Chaya, when the actor was a twenty-one years old. The girls were eight and ten years old respectively at that point in time. Now the two are settled, doing well in their professional and marital lives.
4) Salim Khan
Salman Khan's father and a dad to four biological kids adopted a fifth child - a baby girl named Arpita and raised her with Salman, Sohail, Arbaz and Alvira. Arpita got married in 2016 and is a mother to baby boy Ahil.
5) Mithun Chakraborty
The 'Disco Dancer' adopted a homeless baby girl he had found and named her Dishani - who is now the apple of his eye despite him having biological kids.

6) Sandra Bullock
This Miss Congeniality of Hollywood has adopted two children; a baby boy Louis and girl Laila in 2010 and 2015 respectively. "I can tell you absolutely, the exact right children came to me at the exact right time," Bullock said in an in an interview with People.
