ISLAMABAD: National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP) have recovered a snatched truck, loaded with chaff worth Rs350,000  and arrested a suspect. During routine patrol on GT Road, Senior Patrol Officer Naveed Baig and Patrol Officer Shahid Nazir were informed by a truck driver, Tahir, that someone had stolen his Bedford truck which was loaded with chaff. He pointed out the route that the truck was probably taking from Islamnagar towards Lahore. NH&MP patrol vehicles went into action and after few minutes, they stopped the said truck near Hussani Astani, Maraka. Motorway Police took the truck into its custody and arrested the driver Muhammad Asharaf.
