It has been seven months since baby Taimour Ali Khan Pataudi was born (December 2016), but the resentment over his name hasn't died down yet.

An open letter written to Kareena after spewing hate at the actress for naming her baby Taimour, after a 'Muslim conqueror' recently went viral, reported Cosmopolitan. The tone and the content of the letter reek contempt at the new Mom for naming her son after a 'cruel conquerer' who allegedly 'killed thousands of Hindus' and was famed for his plunder and brutality.

This latest picture of Taimur Ali Khan will prove that he is as gorgeous as his parents!

The letter calls out Kareena for being quick to adopt the Muslim cultural values right after marrying Saif Ali Khan, yet not being more proactive in picking a suitable name for her son.

The factual accuracy of what this historical figure is deemed to be can be checked with more research. But the recurring debate over Saif and Kareena's baby' name and hateful tweets are a testimony to the brewing anti-Muslim sentiment in India.

Shakti | 7 years ago | Reply Taimur killed millions in what is now Pakistan. In fact, the brunt of his cruelty was borne by this region as was the case with all other invaders of India.
