Revenue from CPEC will increase more than state’s budget: experts

Conference was held to bring together scholars, researchers, educators and students to share their research

LAHORE: China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is an emerging issue of world economy and it will prove to be a fate changer for the region. In few years, revenue generated through CPEC will increase more than the total annual budget of the state.

LCWU to introduce TED Talks on campus

This was said by experts in an opening session of three-day international conference on ‘Emerging Issues in Management Sciences’ organised by Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) on Tuesday. Minister for Higher Education Raza Ali Gillani was the chief guest.

The main aim of holding the conference was to bring scholars, researchers, educators, students and other groups interested in research to present their works on the developments in management sciences.

LCWU all set to become a 'smart university' 

LCWU Vice-Chancellor Dr Uzma Qureshi said the conference would provide an opportunity for academicians and professionals from various universities to share their theoretical knowledge, research findings and educational/management practices with their colleagues and academic community.

She added, “In the dynamic and competitive business world of today, management practices are more than mere window-dressing.
