Party announces names of Insaf Doctors Forum’s president and general secretary
PESHAWAR:
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) officially notified its doctors’ wing on Monday and announced the names of its president and general secretary.
Dr Jawad Wasif from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa has been designated as Insaf Doctors Forum’s (IDF) first president and Dr Saeed Mustafa from Islamabad its general secretary, as per a notification issued by party general secretary Jahangir Khan Tareen on Sunday.
The notification, available on party website, read, “Chairman PTI, Imran Khan shall withhold the office as patron-in-chief with Jehangir Tareen acting as the patron.

“While the wing shall be governed by its by-laws, approved and notified by the secretary general. Party members and doctors registered with Pakistan Medical and Dental Council will be eligible for the IDF membership.”
It further read that the IDF would follow a three-tiered structure functional at the Centre, with a provincial, district and regional presence in Azad Jammu Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.
